What is the difference between local and travel assignments? +
Local assignments don't usually come with a max contract length or end date, unlike travel assignments which do have an end date. Plus, local gigs offer a straightforward taxable hourly rate, while travel gigs often have a taxed hourly rate along with an untaxed stipend.
